Firefighters Tackle Brush Fire At EPCAL

It took about an hour for firefighters to knock back the flames, police say.

CALVERTON, NY — A brush fire broke out at Enterprise Park at Calverton Monday night, police said.

According to Riverhead Town police, the fire was reported at about 8:08 p.m. Responding officers saw the fire on the southeast portion of the property; the Manorville Fire Department responded to extinguish the blaze, police said.

No injuries were reported and the fire was put out in about an hour, police said.
