  1. Miloski's Poultry Farm celebrates its 75th anniversary! Mark Miloski Jr. first started working on his family’s farm at 5 years old, gathering eggs from the coop. Today, the 33 year old is celebrating the 75th anniversary of Miloski’s Poultry Farm, located at 4418 Middle Country Road in Calverton, by gearing up to prepare about 3,000 turkeys for the Thanksgiving season.   2. Riverhead Police Department to receive increase in funding in proposed 2022 budget. The department is slated to receive an increase of about $1.2 million in Riverhead Town’s 2022 budget. (Riverhead News Review)
  3. Man dies in fiery rollover crash. The crash took place on Sound Avenue in Riverhead about a quarter-mile west of Park Road. A gray 2000 Chevrolet pickup towing an enclosed trailer overturned and was fully engulfed in flames with the driver, Salvatore Pinello, trapped inside, police said. Pinello succumbed to his injuries and was taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office. The crash is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Riverhead Police Department at 631-727-4500. (Riverhead Patch)
