PHOTOS: Peconic River Floods as Hurricane Sandy, High Tide Roll in

Power has been spotty in some places and Hurricane Sandy is on her way, and with high tide rolling in, downtown Riverhead was flooded up to the row of buildings that looks back at the Peconic River, shutting down Peconic Lane and forcing motorists to make their way around to pass between Riverhead and Riverside.
