The Southold Town Police arrested a Mattituck man driving on a suspended license and with an outstanding warrant from the Southold Justice Court.
On June 23, Cesar Chavez-Ruiz, 28, at around 9:17 a.m., was arrested on Rt. 25 in Mattituck after being stopped for a traffic violation. Subsequently, a computer check revealed he had an immigration hold.
Chavez-Ruiz was arrested and transported to the Southold Police Headquarters and held for arraignment.
