Police: Two Riverhead Businesses Sold Alcohol to Minor

Two Riverhead store clerks were arrested on Tuesday after they sold alcohol to a minor, New York State Police said. 

Kamil Krupka, 20, of Calverton, a clerk at Wisla Delicacy & Deli on Main Street, Riverhead, and Joseph E. DelCuore, 50, of Manorville, a clerk at Peconic Wine and Liquor on Old Country Road in Riverhead, sold alcohol to an undercover State Police operative, police said.  

Both men are charged with unlawful dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, police said. 

Police said the following stores were also targeted during the sting operation, but they complied with the law and did not sell alcohol to the minor:

·     Empire Mini Mart

·     Hess Express

·     7-11

·     Lucky Wines & Liquor

·     Time to Eat Café

·     Riverhead Supermarket & Deli

·     Main St Quick Stop

·     Mobil Gas

·     Gulf Gas

·     Roanoke Liquors
