Ride for Life at Riverhead HS and Beach Clean-Up May 6

On Tuesday May 6 the Riverhead Council for Unity at Riverhead High School will organize a beach clean-up at Iron Pier Beach from 2 to 4 p.m., in Jamesport. Drive via Northville Turnpike and Sound Avenue 6.7 mi. 

Also on Tuesday, May 6 the annual "ALS RIDE FOR LIFE" will leave from the Riverhead High School at 9 a.m. The RHS Student Government will be participating in the annual Ride for Life and Government officers will be participating along with a group of students from Mercy High School in Riverhead. The two groups will meet at Riverhead High School, 700 Harrison Avenue and there will be a short ceremony for all participants at the Town Hall lead by Town Supervisor Sean Walter.
