  1. A vote on the EPCAL deal had been delayed pending the ethics board ruling. The current ruling is that Councilwoman Jodi Giglio did not violate ethics procedures, clearing the way for her to vote on the deal. Officials said the Riverhead Town Board will decide Thursday on a date to vote on the proposed $40 million deal for the Enterprise Park at Calverton. (Subscription: Newsday)
  2. Tradewinds Brewing Company in Riverhead is doing what it can to help the people of Ukraine. The brewery has collaborated with Ukrainian brewery Pravda to make their "Red Eye Ale.” The brewery in Lviv, Ukraine, asked brewers around the world to join the resistance by downloading their recipes, brewing their beer and donating profits to the cause.   3. Police have identified a woman found in a burning car in Baiting Hollow Tuesday night. Emergency responders answering a call for a late-night fire found a body inside a burning vehicle in a residential driveway, Riverhead Town police said. Police said that when officers and members of the Riverhead Fire Department responded at the Sebastian Drive home, they found a vehicle "fully engulfed" in the driveway, with fire also spread to an exterior wall of the home and a nearby dumpster. According to the press release, Suffolk County Community College has been named a 2022-23 military friendly school with a gold designation by militaryfriendly.com after a "comprehensive evaluation of the college’s services using both public data and responses from a proprietary survey the college completed," the press release stated.
