- A 17-year-old was arrested and charged with robbing a taxi driver at knifepoint in Riverhead, police said. According to Riverhead police, the teen was arrested Tuesday after an extensive investigation into the robbery, which took place on December 8 in the Dollar Tree parking lot at 1160 Old Country Rd. She was charged with one count of first-degree robbery and held for arraignment at Suffolk County Superior Court, youth part, police said. (Riverhead Patch)
