Here are the top stories in Riverhead today:

1. A 17-year-old was arrested and charged with robbing a taxi driver at knifepoint in Riverhead, police said. According to Riverhead police, the teen was arrested Tuesday after an extensive investigation into the robbery, which took place on December 8 in the Dollar Tree parking lot at 1160 Old Country Rd. She was charged with one count of first-degree robbery and held for arraignment at Suffolk County Superior Court, youth part, police said. (Riverhead Patch)
2. You know it is summer, well almost, when Splish Splash in Calverton opens. Saturday will be the seasonal opening with cashless service. Check out the new ride called 'Hyperlight'! (RiverheadLOCAL)
3. Could drive-thru windows be in Wading River's eateries future? Riverhead officials are considering revisions to the town code. Currently drive-thru windows are only permitted for banks and pharmacies. (Subscription: Newsday)
