- "Riverhead Police have charged Charles Lamb,45, a Riverhead man with five counts of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree in connection with the alleged theft of $11,000 worth of merchandise from the Riverhead Home Depot last fall, police said." (Riverhead Patch)
- " A police officer was injured while out on a call after his marked car was hit by a man charged with driving while intoxicated, police said. Kenneth Hamilton, 47, of Wading River, was arrested and charged with DWI, police said.(Riverhead Patch)
- A homeless man, Nicholas Berg, 36, was arrested after he displayed a knife after stealing items from a Riverhead supermarket, police said. Police said they received a report on Tuesday at noon regarding a larceny at Gala Fresh Farms, located on Old Country Road, at noon; authorities interviewed Gala Fresh employees and it was determined that Berg removed items from the supermarket without paying for them, police said. - The annual HarborFrost festival, "Sag Harbor Village’s answer to the winter blues, returns after its obligatory COVID-19 hiatus to shine its light ever brighter during this cold, dark time of year.
