  1. 2 Women Charged In Riverhead 7-Eleven Assault: Police: Two women have been arrested and charged with assaulting a Riverhead 7-Eleven employee in November, police said. According to Riverhead Town Police, Angie Vanegas, 19, and Iona Weston, 20, were arrested following an extensive investigation into an assault that occurred on November 13, 2021 at the 7-Eleven on Old Country Road. During that incident, a male employee was confronted by the two females, punched him, and stabbed in the leg, police said. (Riverhead Patch)
  2. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available at a clinic in the Riverhead Free Library on Feb. 23 from 1-5 p.m. for people aged 5 and over. Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone announced the clinic as one of several across the county to help boost the rate of vaccination for children and booster shots for adults throughout the month of February.
