  1. During the Long Island-Ukraine Emergency Drive, the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office donated nearly 450 pieces of bulletproof body armor, medical supplies, sleeping bags and other essentials to Ukraine. "We stand with the people of Ukraine, and we want to offer our help any way that we can and I'm proud to announce that the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office is able to step up and provide materials that can help keep them safe," said Suffolk County Sheriff Errol Toulon Jr. (News 12 Connecticut)
  2. "William Dries and Anthony Specchio, owners of a four-acre parcel wedged between Tanger I and Tanger II, are seeking a special permit and site plan approval to construct 31,000 square feet of manufacturer’s outlet retail space," according to RiverheadLOCAL. The plan is back in front of the the Riverhead Town Board, after previous approvals for the plan lapsed.⁠ (RiverheadLOCAL)
  3. According to Riverhead Town Police, early Monday, three juveniles were arrested and charged with a burglary at the Little Flower School, located at 2450 North Wading River Road in Wading River. The Riverhead Police Department's detective division was notified and responded to assist in the investigation, police said. The subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of three juveniles.   4. On Sunday, March 13, Sag Harbor Cinema will screen “Maidan,” a documentary by renowned Ukrainian filmmaker Sergei Loznitsa, in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. "Loznitsa and his cameraman documented the shift from peace at the end of 2013 to January 2014, when riot police stormed the square following an ultimatum from the government ordering protestors to disperse," wrote Sag Harbor Express.
