Southampton Police Log: Man Steals Air Compressor; Charged With Felony

Southampton police arrests through July 22.

DWI

• Dagna Griciute, 22, of Riverhead, was charged with DWI, a misdemeanor, on July 21 after he was pulled over at 4 p.m. on Springville Road in Hampton Bays for moving from his lane unsafely, police said.
Drugs

• A 31-year-old Riverhead man and a 30-year-old Hampton Bays man were arrested after police caught them snorting cocaine in a parked car in the Beach Bar parking lot on Foster Avenue in Hampton Bays on July 7 at 3 p.m., according to police. They were both charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor. The Hampton Bays man, who was sitting in the driver’s seat, was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Grand Larceny

• Clifford Stokley, 57, of Riverhead, was charged with grand larceny in the third degree, a felony, on July 21 at 7 p.m. Stokley was charged, police said, after they reviewed video surveillance of him stealing an air compressor from Flanders Sheet Metal, located on Flanders Road in Flanders.

Obstruction of Breath

• Raymond Dockery, 45, of Riverhead was charged with criminal obstruction of breath, assault in the third degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, all misdemeanors, on July 21 after police said he was involved in a domestic dispute on Pine Street in Northampton. Police said the man attempted to strangle his girlfriend, who was also charged. Danielle Rowley, 42, of Northampton was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, assault in the second degree, both felonies. She was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a misdemeanor. Police said she strike her boyfriend with a broken chair and then damaged household items, valued at $1,060.
