Tractor Trailer Tips by Tanger, Driver Cited
The driver of a truck was given numerous vehicle and traffic tickets Saturday morning after he tipped coming off the Long Island Expressway onto Route 25.
A tractor trailer tipped over Saturday morning coming off the Long Island Expressway, sending the driver to the hospital and closing Route 25 for several hours.
According to Riverhead Police, the accident occurred around 7:10 a.m., and the driver was given multiple vehicle and traffic tickets, though police did not specify.
The accident occurred as the truck merged onto Route 25 eastbound.
