Woman Dies In Jamesport Crash Thursday: Police
She crashed into 2 parked vehicles, police say.
JAMESPORT, NY — A Mattituck woman died in a crash on Sound Avenue in Jamesport Thursday afternoon, police said.
According to Riverhead Town police, the crash took place at about 3:18 p.m. A 2016 white Subaru traveling westbound left the roadway and struck two unoccupied vehicles parked in the lot of Lumber and Salt on Sound Avenue, police said.
The driver, identified as Victoria Moller, 75, was located unresponsive at the scene, police said. She was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased, police said.

At the current stage of the investigation, it appears a prior medical event may have contributed to the crash, police said.
A portion of Sound Avenue was closed during the investigation, police said.
