Miller, Croteau Zone In For Award

Bayport-Blue Point seniors selected for physical education honor.

Seniors from Bayport-Blue Point High School found themselves in a successful zone.

Kerrigan Miller and Brandon Croteau were named award winners by the Suffolk Zone chapter of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

Students nominated for the Suffolk Zone award had to meet a standard for physical education achievement. This included maintaining an A or 90 and above average in high school physical education classes; an overall grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at the completion of 11th grade; being a continuous contributor to the overall positive outcomes of their physical education classes and school; being a responsible leader in class and school-wide activities; and are considered a role model for their peers.
