Book groups and individuals are invited to attend an evening book discussion about Sonya Chung's debut novel Long For This World. They can read her book ahead of time, and come listen to and participate in the discussion.

Sonya Chung's stories, reviews, and essays have appeared in the Threepenny Review, Crab Orchard Review, Sonora Review, and BOMB Magazine.

She is recipient of a Pushcart Prize nomination, the Charles Johnson Fiction Award, and the Bronx Council on the Arts Writers' Fellowship & Residency.
She teaches fiction writing at New York University and the Gotham Writer's Workshop. The fall 2010, Chung will join the full-time faculty of the Creative Writing Program at Columbia University.
