2 Boats Damaged In Mastic Beach Marina Fire: Police

The fire broke out at around 10 a.m. at the Mastic Beach Property Owner's Association's marina, Suffolk police said.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — Two boats were damaged in a fire at the Mastic Beach Property Owner's Association's marina on Monday morning, Suffolk police said.

A person had been working on the engine of one of the boats as it was docked at the marina, which is on Riviera Drive and Forest Road East, when when it caught fire at around 10 a.m., according to police.

The fire damaged an adjacent boat, police said.
