Fire Breaks Out At Home In Shirley: Police
It started at around 6 p.m., drawing area firefighters, Suffolk police say.
SHIRLEY, NY — A fire broke out in a backyard shed in Shirley, drawing area firefighters on Wednesday night, Suffolk police said.
The fire started at the Appel Drive East home at around 6 p.m., according to police.

The fire was one of two to break out in the area within around two and a half hours.
A fence on Woodcut Drive in Mastic caught fire at around 3:30 p.m., and the Mastic Fire Department was called in to extinguish it.
