- Mastic Fire Department is hosting a Trunk-Or-Treat for Caitlyn's vision at William Floyd High School today. This event will run from 2 to 4 p.m. All are welcome. Learn Caitlyn's full story here. (Patch)
- Suffolk police are offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who gives information that leads to the arrest of the driver who hit and killed Tyler Phillips. The hit-and-run happened on Granny Road in Coram on Oct. 12. According to his sister, who survived the incident, Phillips pushed her out of the way to save her from being hit. (Port Jefferson Patch)
- Save the date for the Peconic Bay Medical Center Career Fair. Careers workshops, guest speakers and the PBMC staff will be at William Floyd High School on Nov. 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Don't forget to bring your resumé to apply for positions that interest you. (Press Release Desk)
