School Bus Crash Closes Southbound William Floyd Parkway In Shirley

The bus collided with a sedan at around 8:44 a.m., Suffolk police said.

SHIRLEY, NY — The left lane of southbound William Floyd Parkway in Shirley was closed Thursday morning after a school bus and sedan crashed into each other, Suffolk police said.

Seventh Precinct police officers responded to the crash on the parkway, near Baybright Drive, at around at 8:44 a.m. and tow trucks were called, according to police.

It is not clear if anyone was injured.
