- Registration is open for an in-person book discussion at the MMSPL. The book on the topic will be "The Water Dancer," by Ta-Nehisi Coates. The book is about young Hiram Walker who had his mom sold away and all memory of her was robbed. The discussion will be held on Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. For more information and to register click here. - Birdies is officially open for business in Patchogue. The golf simulator bar attracted a crowd on its grand opening last weekend. The new outing is located at 17 N. Ocean Ave. and features six golf simulators and a varied drinks menu. (Greater Long Island)
- The next meeting of the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities will be held Wednesday, March 2, from 10:30 a.m. -noon via Zoom.
