- Mastic Fire Department and other first responders crews controlled a large bush fire in the woods on the Westbound Sunrise Highway. According to officials, the flames started at 1 p.m., burning approximately 6 acres in the area. (News12)
- Gabby Petito's family plans to sue the Moab Police Department for failing to identify signs of domestic abuse. The announcement was made on Monday of a $50 million lawsuit. (Patchogue Patch)
