1. A Mastic man was hospitalized with serious injuries after a car crash at the intersection of Montauk Highway and Quogue Street. The accident happened on March 4, police said that an eastbound 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck had crossed the double yellow center lines on Montauk Highway and traveled into the westbound lane, crashing into a westbound F-250 pickup truck. The driver of the Ford F-250, identified as a 60-year-old Mastic man, was hospitalized for treatment of serious injuries, police said. Police said the driver of the Ford F-150, identified as Carmine Monteforte, was arrested at the scene. (newsbreak)

3. Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts announced that The Gateway is expanding its season! Musical and artistic enjoyment will be extended starting this June into April 2023. 4. Frontier Airlines has announced that it is now flying nonstop to Fort Lauderdale from Long Island MacArthur Airport. The fares can go as low as $39. According to Islip Town Supervisor, Angie Carpenter, Fort Lauderdale is a very popular destination for residents across Long Island. (LongIsland.com)
