  1. Registration for Little Creators Art Studio begins on March 7. The program is hosted by the MMS Community Library and will be held on March 14, from 10-11 a.m. The little ones will explore the world of "process art" where the goal is just to create! The class will welcome kids of age 18 months- 5 years with an adult. (MMSCL)
  2. William Floyd School District announced the NYSAA ELA, Math and Science will begin on March 14. The program will run until June 10. For more information, visit the district official website. (WFSD)
  3. Brookhaven Town is completing plans to build a Blue Point park with walking trails at the site of a laundry business that closed more than two decades ago. The plan was approved on Feb. 17 by the Town Board and during the meeting, an agreement was signed in which Suffolk County will pay $1.4 million to fund construction. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
