1. A man from Mastic Beach was injured during a physical assault. Around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, police arrived at the parking lot of a Lidl supermarket in Shirley to find the victim in need of medical help. The unknown man was transported to the Long Island Community Hospital. (Shirley-Mastic Patch)

3. Nearby News: The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first Friends of St. Patchogue fundraiser. 4. Annie Henry, a 104-year-old Gordon Heights resident, is remembered for her lifetime service in the U.S. Military. After her discharge, she committed herself to help local youth and was the longest employee of the local fire department.
