  1. A man from Mastic Beach was injured during a physical assault. Around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, police arrived at the parking lot of a Lidl supermarket in Shirley to find the victim in need of medical help. The unknown man was transported to the Long Island Community Hospital. (Shirley-Mastic Patch)

  3. Nearby News: The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce is hosting its first Friends of St. Patchogue fundraiser.   4. Annie Henry, a 104-year-old Gordon Heights resident, is remembered for her lifetime service in the U.S. Military.
