1. The Shirley community welcomes a new Northwell Health facility. The new campus is located at 855 Montauk Highway and accepts patients. (Patch)
2. MMS Community Library will host a Class Act Extracts via Zoom on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at 7 p.m. Participants will learn how to use homemade extracts to add an extra flavor to baking goods! (Patch)
3. Nearby News: Suffolk County announced the Monkeypox Vaccine Clinics in Brentwood and Patchogue. According to Steve Bellone's office, the vaccines will be administered by Stony Brook Medicine in partnership with Northwell Health. (Patch)
