  2. MMS Public Library continues to collect nonperishable food items to support a local pantry. Feel free to support the community by bringing your donations when visiting the library. Bins are located near the front desk and the donations will be appreciated until Feb. 28. (MMSPL)
  3. Sewage is reported to seep Patchogue River and Patchogue Bay. Suffolk Healthy Department advises fishermen, boaters, and residents to stay away from the waters until the leak is investigated and clears up. More updates will be released to the community as local officials look into the situation. (News12)
  4. Nearby News: One person was killed during a house blaze in Selden. The fire happened on Wednesday at 357 Magnolia Drive at around 6:20 p.m. An adult was found deceased inside of the house. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire. (Newsbreak)
