2. During the week of Monday, March 7 through Friday, March 11, the district will be upgrading its school meal software system. As a result, the MySchoolBucks pre-payment service will be temporarily unavailable and unable to accept online payments for all of the schools in our district. Please note that during this time, funds already on the account will still be accessible and available for use. Barring any unforeseen issues, the system is expected to be fully back online by Saturday, March 12. (Press Release Desk)
3. A former Sayville teacher was arrested Friday for providing alcohol to a minor. Police said in 2020, Ferremi gave alcohol to a 16-year-old male student at his home. In May 2021, Sayville Union School District contacted Suffolk County police regarding the incident. Ferremi is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. (News 12 Bronx)
