1. Inmates at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverside are facing drug trafficking charges after using visitors as helpers to bring dope into the jail. Among the visitors involved in the trafficking operation are Mastic Beach residents Alimatou Fall, 22, and Briana Boris, 21. (Shirley-Mastic Patch)
2. The William Floyd Elementary School Student Council hosted two winter fundraisers to help families in need. Their efforts raised $300 and collected a good amount of winter hats, gloves, and scarves, all donated to families in the community. (Press Release Desk)
