- Patch has a story on threats made against a nearby school. A social media threat was posted Monday night targeting Oregon Middle School in Medford. Police sent officers to the school and are investigating. (Patch)
- Newsday explains that Gov. Kathy Hochul wrote a letter to a federal agency asking for Yaphank and North Bellport residents to have a say in a proposed waste transfer station to be built near Brookhaven Town landfill. The Yapank project would cost $182 million. (Subscription: Newsday)
- The three highest-priced houses that sold in East Moriches last month ranged from $704,000 to $925,000. Number one was a four-bedroom contemporary at 12 Inlet View Path that sold for $925,000. (Subscription: Long Island Business News)
