1. MMS Public Library will host a "Winter Walk" at the Wertheim National Wildlife Refuge. The event will happen on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 12:30 p.m. Ms. Hillary will be the guide, and families with young children are welcome to join. For registration, visit the library website. (MMS Library)
   
2. U.S. Embassy volunteer Alicia Arendt remembers her 10 years as a student at the William Floyd School. She recalls her childhood community saying it's on her heart and shares her journey as a world traveler due to her job as a diplomat.
