Shirley Woman Flashed Handgun In An Argument In 7-Eleven: Police
She was involved in a fight with another woman at the location and showed her a handgun at around 2:20 a.m., Suffolk police said.
SHIRLEY, NY — A Shirley woman was charged with weapon possession Thursday after Suffolk police say she flashed a handgun at another woman during an argument in a Farmingville 7-Eleven.
The two women were involved in the "verbal altercation" at the Mooney Pond Road location at around 2:20 a.m., and Dawn Bittrolff, 45, flashed a handgun, police said. She was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, as well as third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
She was held overnight for arraignment, a police spokeswoman said.
