Pedestrian Struck In Shirley: Police

He was struck on River Road at around 5:10 p.m., Suffolk police said.

SHIRLEY, NY — A pedestrian was struck by a car in Shirley on Monday night, Suffolk police said.

The pedestrian, a man, was crossing River Road when he was struck by a vehicle driven by another man at around 5:10 p.m., according to police.

The man was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
