Long Island Woman Shot In Her Home Dies On New Year’s Eve: Police
She was found at around 11:30 a.m., then brought to Stony Brook University Hospital where she was pronounced dead, Suffolk police said.
MIDDLE ISLAND, NY — A woman died after being shot in her Middle Island home on New Year's Eve, Suffolk police said.
Officers responded to a shooting inside an Arist Lake Drive home at around 11:27 a.m. on Sunday, and it was determined that Kristine Costantino had been shot , according to police.
Costantino, 40, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852- 6392, or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers, a confidential police hotline, at 1-800-220-TIPS.
