Meg Ryan's SoHo Loft Is In Contract

SOHO, NY — Meg Ryan's gorgeous SoHo loft on Mercer Street is in contract, more than two months after she listed the luxe pad for $10.9 million. (For more news from SoHo and the rest of New York City, subscribe to Patch news alerts here.)

The stunning apartment, located at 84 Mercer St., was featured in Architectural Digest in October, just three months before Ryan listed it. Ryan spoke of the slew of New York City apartments she's gutted and renovated, including the three-bedroom on Mercer Street.

"I know it sounds crazy to most people, the idea of renovating that many houses," Ryan told the magazine. "But I love renovating. I think it’s tied to living the actor’s life. As an actor, you are so rarely in control. You’re always saying words that someone else has given you, standing in a room that someone else has designed, to create a reality that someone else wants to see. But with decorating I am in control; it’s a chance for me to bring my vision into the world."

She first purchased the apartment in 2014 for $8 million, according to Curbed.
