65-Year-Old Victim In Fatal I-684 Crash ID'd By New York State Police
A northbound driver lost control of her vehicle, hit a guardrail, crossed all lanes of traffic and hit the victim's vehicle, cops said.

SOUTHEAST, NY — State police have identified the victim of a Sunday morning, two-car crash on I-684.
The New York State Police say that on Sunday, around 7:15 a.m., troopers responded to a two-car collision on the interstate highway, in the town of Southeast.
An initial investigation found that 23-year-old Makayla S. McIntyre, of Mount Vernon, had been driving north on I-684, when she lost control of her vehicle.

Police say that her vehicle hit a guiderail, moved across all lanes of traffic, and hit another vehicle driven by 65-year-old Michael T. Keller, of New Milford, Connecticut.
Both vehicles veered off of the road, hitting the middle median, overturning, and coming to rest in the center embankment of I-684, according to NYSP.

Keller was pronounced dead at the scene. McIntyre was taken to Danbury Hospital with minor injuries.
Police say that the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
