Brewster Wine & Liquor Talks Most Expensive Bottle
A local experts calls the wine—which he says is 'worth every penny'—dynamite.

The most expensive bottle at Brewster Wine & Liquor in Southeast sells for $209.99.
That's according to Gregory T. Semmeles, general manager at the Lakeview Plaza shop. The Joseph Phelps cabernet, a vintage 2008 that comes from Napa Valley, is part of the brand's Insignia line.
"It's a big bottle of wine," Semmeles said, referring to the red's "rush of flavors." "It's a food wine. It's not something you're going to sit on your porch with on a Wednesday afternoon."

A good pick for special occasions, the brand and line of this cab is known among wine-lovers, Semmeles added. He would pair it with a steak dinner, because "you want something that stands up to this bottle."
