Carmel Detective Promoted to Sergeant

The Carmel Police Department has promoted Det. Robert Bagnarol to the rank of police sergeant. 

A husband and father of three with an educational background in criminal justice, Bagnarol came to the department in 2000. He became a detective in 2005 and has received numerous honors:

• Departmental commendations (five times)
• Excellent Police Duty (10 times)
• Life-Saving Award (twice)
• Meritorious Award

Bagnarol will be assigned to the patrol division, where he will act as vacation relief sergeant.
