This submission comes from reader Asura Randolph, who nominated her supervisor, Debra Beattie.

Beattie and Randolph work at CoveCare in the PROS department. CoveCare Center provides mental health, substance use, and supportive services for adults, children, families, and seniors. Its mission mission is to partner with individuals, families, and the community to foster hope, wellness, and recovery, and to restore quality of life by addressing mental health needs, substance use, and social and emotional issues.

Patch: What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Nominator: Debra has been a voice for many who cannot vocalize. She is kind, patient, and caring. She goes above and beyond each and every time. She may not think of herself as a hero, but we certainly do :)
