Cops: Mahopac Man, with Prior Conviction, Drove Drunk in Southeast
His blood-alcohol level was allegedly 0.13 percent. The legal limit is 0.08.

A 39-year-old Mahopac man is facing felony charges after he got behind the wheel while intoxicated this weekend, officials say.
State troopers arrested Shawn M. Finney at about 10:35 p.m. Friday, at the intersection of Interstate 84 and Route 312 in Southeast. Police stopped the defendant because he failed to exercise due care when passing an emergency vehicle.
Officials found Finney—who had been driving a 2008 Jeep, and who was convicted of drunken driving within the last 10 years—to be intoxicated. His blood-alcohol level was allegedly 0.13 percent. The legal limit is 0.08.

Finney is facing two felony charges: driving while intoxicated, with a prior conviction, and aggravated unlicensed operation. He was released pending a March 28 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.
