Mahopac Marine to Host Annual Arms Forces Appreciation Festival

From the Mahopac Marine:

Mahopac Marine, with support from the Putnam County Sheriff's Department Marine Unit and the Putnam County PBA, as well as the local community, is holding it annual Arms Forces Appreciation Festival on Lake Mahopac on Saturday, July 9 from noon to 5 p.m.

The event will include a barbecue picnic with free food to all military personnel and veterans, various contests and a raffle with prizes. Donations will be accepted throughout the day with all funds going to the Disabled American Veterans.

There will also be a boat parade, a trophy for "Best Boat," a live DJ and color guard performance.
