Robert (Bob) W. Wanninger, 68, of Brewster, passed away suddenly at home on Friday. He was born Nov. 29, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant to Mae and John Wanninger.
Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired self-employed owner of a specialized construction company. He was an avid golfer, a wine connoisseur and a gourmet chef.

On Oct. 7, 1990, Bob married Wendy Bell. They have been married for 22 years.
Bob is survived by his wife Wendy Wanninger; two children: Randi Zier (Jeff) and Robert Wanninger; a grandson: Justin Zier; several siblings: Paul Wanninger (Marilyn), JoAnn Clark, Kathy Wanninger, Judy Sapione (Jim); and several nieces and nephews.
All services will be held at Beecher Funeral Home (located on Putnam Avenue in Brewster, (845)-279-3615).

Calling hours are scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 19. Memorial Service is slated for 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, July 20. Anyone wishing to share memories may do so at the memorial service.
