Teresa ‘ZiZi’ Bianchini of Brewster, NY, passed away peacefully Sunday October 8, 2023, in Carmel, NY at the age of 93.

Teresa was born July 14, 1930, in Muro Lucano, Italy, daughter of the late Francesco and Felicia (Confuorti) LaMorte. On January 8, 1951, she married Gerardo P. Bianchini in Muro Lucano. They emigrated to the United States in 1953 and settled in Bronx, NY where they lived until 2019 when they moved to Brewster, NY. Teresa worked as a seamstress for many years in the Bronx and was very active in St. Benedict’s Church.

Teresa is survived by her husband Gerardo, her brother Domenico LaMorte of Brewster, NY and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews here in America and Italy.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday October 12, 2023, at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY, at 12:00 pm, followed by the entombment in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Danbury, CT. Calling hours will take place Thursday October 12,2023 prior to the mass from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY.
