Hundreds Turn Out for St. Patrick's Day in Putnam

The event, which takes place on Route 6 in Mahopac, is in its 37th consecutive year.

Folks young and old showed up Sunday for the 2013 Northern Westchester-Putnam St. Patrick's Day Parade, the third biggest event of its kind in the state.

Grand Marshal Timothy Maher, a member of the Irish-American Social Club of Northern Westchester and Putnam Counties, joined scores of organizations for a walk down sunny Route 6 in Mahopac.

Marchers hailed from all over the Hudson Valley, including Cold Spring, Kent, Larchmont, New Fairfield, CT, North Salem, Patterson and Yorktown.
