Ridgefield Restaurateur: Reviews for Southeast Chef 'Extremely Favorable'

Tommy Stevens appeared on Hell's Kitchen last season, before taking over as chef at the Ancient Mariner.

After speaking to Southeast-Brewster Patch last year while he was appearing on national television, longtime Southeast resident Tommy Stevens has been .

Jessica Wilmot, the owner of , located on Main Street in Ridgefield, CT, brought Stevens on board last season. Wilmot told Patch that since then, reviews for the long-established eatery, which is known for classes like crab cakes and fish and chips, have been "extremely favorable."

Prior to starting at the Ancient Mariner, Stevens worked at Bistro 19 in Somers. That's where he heard about Hell’s Kitchen, a reality show on FOX. He appeared during the ninth season of the program, which initially featured 18 cooks.
