Deputy Makes DWI Arrest on Milltown Road

Authorities also charged the defendant with third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

A 20-year-old Southeast man is facing two misdemeanor charges after a recent traffic stop on Milltown Road, officials say.

Deputy Sheriff Thomas Lee arrested Timothy B. Hogan at about 3:40 a.m. Sunday, after he saw the defendant speeding, according to a statement.

Authorities charged Hogan with driving while intoxicated and third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. He was taken to the Putnam County Correctional Facility where he awaited arraignment.

Hogan will be due in Southeast Justice Court at a later date. The Sheriff's Office generally does not release blood-alcohol levels, as they may be considered evidentiary.
