Speeding Leads to DWI Arrest in Patterson

A 41-year-old Beacon woman is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated following a recent arrest on Interstate 84 in Patterson.

Troopers from the East Fishkill barracks stopped Jeannine Wender, who was driving a gray Honda at about 82 mph in a 65-mph zone, Wednesday, authorities say.

Police found Wender to be intoxicated. She was charged with drunken driving and processed at the station, pending an April 15 appearance in Patterson Justice Court.
