Teen Wanted In LI Murder Case Nabbed In Putnam County: Sheriff
He had been wanted for a February homicide in Central Islip, and an investigation revealed that he had been staying in Brewster.

BREWSTER, NY — A Long Island fugitive homicide suspect has been captured in the Hudson Valley.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office says that they assisted Suffolk County Police Department detectives with the arrest of the teenager on Saturday in the Village of Brewster.
Brayan Heredia Escobar had been wanted for a homicide last month in Central Islip, police said.

Escobar, 39-year-old Julio Beltran, and 18-year-old Jhon Lopez Campo are accused of killing a 39-year-old homeless man, Condido Guadalupe Saravia Devenites, on Feb. 17, according to a report in Newsday.
An investigation revealed that he had been staying at an address in the village.

Around 7:30 p.m., the 19-year-old was arrested without incident. He was taken back to Suffolk County by the detectives and was charged with second-degree murder, police said.
