Troopers: Danbury Man Drove Drunk in Southeast

A 21-year-old Danbury, CT man is facing a drunken driving charge after a recent arrest in Southeast, police say.

State troopers from the East Fishkill barracks arrested Robert J. Bassett at about 3:20 a.m. Sunday on the ramp for Exit 21 of westbound Interstate 84.

Officials charged Bassett with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. He was released pending a future court appearance.
