Summer Reading & Program Volunteers
Volunteers help young patrons log the books they've read as well as assist with other fun activities. This opportunity is designed for teen volunteers ages 13-18.

Location: Spring Valley
Volunteer Videographers
Volunteers with smartphones and videography experience will help shoot short videos of dogs in training to be used on social media and other marketing materials. Training sites and schedule will vary and volunteers will be expected to travel to those sites. This opportunity is perfect for professionals or newcomers who love dogs, want to build up their portfolios and lend their talents to a local nonprofit.

Summer Greenternship - Peekskill
Summer Greenternship - Yonkers
These hands-on, educational internships teach high school and college-aged youth about the effects of the water chestnut. Interns will work in canoes and on land to remove this aquatic invasive species from lakes to help promote a healthy ecosystem and clean water for native species and enhance the quality of life for Westchester community members. This opportunity is perfect for students ages 14-24.
Date: July 26-29 and August 2-5 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (Peekskill); July 12-15 and July 19-22 from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. (Yonkers)
